My maiden name was Gail Wooten. My grandfather and grandmother were both born in Fredonia, Wilson County, Kansas. My grandfather was born August 23, 1905 and his name was John William Wooten. He had a brother named Clarence, so there may be some relation...Clarence may have been named after the Clarence here that you mentioned whom died in 1926. I remember my Grandma said that Delaney was also on our ancestry, as Grandma and Grandpa had adopted a Korean girl in the 1960's and used "Dell" as her middle name because of this family name. I am sure that there has to be some connection here between your family and mine.
My grandmother's name was Virginia Edith Circle. She was born July 22, 1919. They had two sons- Charles and John Arthur Wooten. John was born December 12, 1935. He lives in Pittsburg, Missouri. (Though John is my father, we are not on speaking terms, which I regret.)
