I am very interested in getting in touch with Norma Nichols. She undoubtedly is a relative of mine. She posted the photos and obituaries of the Worley brothers from the Civil War. John Worley, enlisted in the Iowa Cavalry, but buried in Allen, KS., was my maternal great-grandfather. I am hoping that she has more information and photos. The Iowa enlistees were at one time stationed near Trading Post, KS, which is only about twelve miles from my home here. I was born in Emporia and came to Linn County to teach in 1965 and have lived here since then. My youngest sister (Charlene Hardy) is as a resident of Linn Co.
