The new Dorland Genealogy, The Dorland Enigma Solved by Barbara A. Barth and edited by Judith Smith Cassidy and Harry Macy, Jr. will be published in May. Doniphan County members of this family include the children of Gerret Dorland, ie/ Cornelius Dorland and wife Jane Armstrong who died in Doniphan Co. and are buried there,Cornelius on Dec. 3, 1872 and their descendants, Rebecca Dorland and husband Joseph Gray, Jacob Gurwell, William Gurwell.

Penny Milroy was extremely helpful to us when we were researching this book. Apprently her email has changed, so if anyone has that I would appreciate it.
