Looking for info concerning A VERNON family of Craw ford county. I am desperately searching for info about my dad's family who lived in Craw ford county from at least 1886 - 1900. There were 4 children and their parents died while they were young. they may have been Irish. Their parents came in a covered wagon. The mother's maiden name may have been TRAYLOR. The older girls, Eva and Essie cared for the younger boys, Ernest and Harold until jobs and husbands came along. Then they all moved away. They lived close to Pittsburgh. I have no idea who my grandparents were or what happened to them. I have married names, dates and places of death, some birth dates of the kids, a lot of guesses, and not much more.
