Looking for descendants of Peter Washington BOYLES, born 20 December 1820 Athens Co., OH. and died 5 June 1884 Rossville, Shawnee Co., KS. He married Sarah BRANCH in OH., but do not know where. Known children so far: Charles W., b. about. 1849; Francis M., b. about. 1851; James H., b. about. 1856 and Samuel F., b. about. 1859 all in OH., possibly Athens Co., as this is where I found them on the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census.
I have a lot of information on the BOYLES of Athens Co. going back to the late 1790's, following three brothers and their siblings and carrying the many branches down towards the present. They scattered out west to IA., MO. and KS. mainly. Would love to hear from all of you connected to this family.
