Cutler's 1883 History of Kansas has a biography of Joseph Holley in Neosho County. It mentions his son, Frank Zera, as being at the Kansas Normal in Ft. Scott at the time of writing. The Holley Family Bible notes his marriage to Mary Ellen Griggs (also Neosho County) in Ft. Scott, Nov. 1885.

Any information about the Kansas Normal or help to locate a record of their marriage would be appreciated. Frank became a physician/druggist and made the Okla. Land Run in 1889.
