Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me find out why my Great-great-great- Grandfather was asked to move out of Weir County and the State of Ks between 1917- 1920. He had a letter written by an Attorney named last name Coon to a Judge Colby M Madison written on July 15-1920 and the Judge told Samuel they had to move. Does anyone out there know anything about a Judge called Cloby M Madison during this time frame? Or an Attorney named Coon? Any information would indeed be very helpful for we are trying to figure out why they had to leave the state. Here is my e-mail if anyone out there can help me with this..This information is very important for my Mom is getting on in yrs and so is my Uncle. My Mom's dad ( John Daugherty) was Samuel son. My Mom's maiden name is Daugherty. We also have another mystery my grandfather's (John Daugherty) sister Jean Daugherty moved away to La and I would love to find anything about her she had a boyfriend named Banjo McLean and they live down by New Orleans La all we know so far is she ran a house for women nothing more. Anything on anyone mentioned here would be helpful Thanks Terri email sugarbabe46.1@juno.com
