What was "Peachens" (e.g. - hotel, restaurant, etc.) and where was it located?

I have a reference to this place dated December 20, 1887 in an old diary - a place in Wichita where an ancestor went to have dinner while waiting for the railroad tracks to clear after a heavy snow storm.
