I am trying to locate the grave of my g grandparents, John and Magdalena Brown (Braun). Magdalena died in 1857 and John probably in the 1860's or 70's. John did have a second marriage to a woman, I think named Ann Reynolds. I had understood that they were buried in the old Migliario cemetery in Lecompton. I know that some of the Migliario's who were related to the Browns were disintered and moved to the Catholic cemetery in Big Springs, but Johm and Magdalena were not. I also understood that the cemetery had fallen on hard times, and stones disintegrated, but someone placed a new one on the the Browns grave and the cemetery was cleaned up. My nephew went to Lecompton today, but could not find a Miglorio or Pioneer Cemetery (not one at KU). He did find Maple Hill and two of the sons of John and Magdalena were found there. They were John C Brown and William Brown and William's son, Charles. Can anyone tell me if there is a Pioneer or Migliario cemetery in or around Lecompton, and if so where it is located. If you can help, I would really appreciated it.
