I am searching for information on Martha Jane Basden, who came from Richland Co. Il. with her parents. She was born in Cowley Co. Ks. abt. 1888, and died in Wichita Ks. I imagine she probably married, just don't know. I have alot of information on her ancestors. If anyone knows anything about her please contact me. I would be more than happy to share the information I have. Her parents were Lott Basden and Margaret Lucy Shirley who married in Richland Co. Il. Lott had died by the time the 1900 census came out, and Margaret (Maggie) was left with 9 children to raise in Kansas. I believe they set out for Kansas about 1890 in a covered wagon.
