I am researching the family of H. Seymour Hall and his wife Augusta; I am trying to find living descendants who might know the whereabouts of Hall's extensive collection of papers and documents pertaining to his Civil War Military career. He lived in Lawrence, Kansas and died in Kansas City in 1908; his son, Clarence edited the Lawrence city newspaper for many years. Hall served in Company G., 27th Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, then the 121st New York, then the 43rd Colored Troops who fought at the Mine before Petersburg, VA. He left the service in 1866, married, then settled in Missouri, then Lawrence, Kansas.
