Looking for information for Stephen W. Watson, b1846 IN, d1924 Hardtner KS. Married to Mary Ellen Mathews, b1849 IL, d1931 Hardtner KS. Both buried in Hardtner. They had lived in Hardtner for about 20 years. They had come from Glen Elder KS about 1905. They had son perry William Watson in Bethany, MO in 1868. Perry married Eva J. Muck in Glen Elder in 1887. They had two children in Glen Elder, Jake b1888, d1949 Bridgeport, WA and Chauncey Dwight, b1891, d1919 in Hardtner, KS and buried in Hardtner. Perry and Eva settled on a Homestead 15 miles south of Hardtner in OK. Eva taught school I believe in Hardtner. My mother Gracia Belle Watsonttended school in Hardtner from 1929 till 1938 when the family moved to Wenatchee, WA. Eva Young my ggrandmother died in the Kiowa Manor Rest Home in 1966. Her ashes are scattered on the old homestead in OK. The migration path was from father James b1790 in SC,KY,IN,MO,KS Any further information would really be a big help in tracking down the earlier ancestors and my cousins.
