Is White Rock township in Jewell County or Smith County. I do not find it either place however I find A White Mound. Is name changed? Also I am lead to believe Frank Davis died in 1898 in Jewell or Decatur county but cannot find a record. I do know he was buried near, Danbury Neb but do not know the name of the cemetery. My mother had been there in the 1940's and I took her again in 1959 and it had a lot of civil war veterans buried there. Do hope someone can give me a lead on any of the information in this query, I am at a dead end in my search for my grandfather's family. With no 1890 census the gap covers most of his short life.Thank you in advance. Wilma Murphy
