My great grandfather Lars Thoger Jensen came from Hjorring
County Denmark in 1880. The police list in Denmark says he
left from a port not in Denmark, in October of 880, alone,
bound for Clay Center, Kansas. He worked in Cloud County,
Kansas for 3 years to earn the passage for his family,
Andrea Juliane, his wife, his children, Anders Christian,
Martin, Peter, Jens(he took the name of John), and Henry.
They left Denmark in June of 1883, and came to Cloud County.
I have not been able to find them in the 1885 census in
Kansas. Lars brother Niels Peter Jensen also left Denmark
alone, bound for Warren County, Pennsylvania ( can't figure
this out), but he ended up in Kansas, and I don't know when
his family came. But they had a daughter Henrietta (Etta)
born in 1885 in Greenleap, Kansas. What township is this
in, or was in? I thought the family was in Jamestown at one
time.
Both of these families along, with Lars Olsen's family, Olaf
Schwartz's family, and Peter Nelsen's family all left
together and went to Banner County Nebraska, in April of
1886, where The Jensen's, Olsen's and Schwartz's stayed.
The Nelsen's returned to Kansas.

Can anyone help me with these two Jensen's families?

Thank you
