James Patterson Mills was born in Indiana about 1847. He married Julia Ellen East on September 13,1869 in Lawrence County, Indiana. Their daughter, Sarah Alice Mills, was born December 19,1875 in Mongomery (Elk City) County, KS. I believe they had 3 other children: Lena, Morton and Ewing. I believe Julia died some time between 1875-1880. My grandmother, Sarah Alice, was raised by her sister, Lena. I would like any help in finding information on James Patterson Mills or Lena Mills.
