Nancy(bn-1892) and Carl Freeman,(bn-1892) both born in Kansas had two sons, one was named Ernest (Earnest)(1910) and the other Alfred (1912). They both lived in Mound Valley in Labette County in 1910. Carl was my step-grandpa and was married to my grandmother in the 1920 census in Allen County. Listed was her two daughters(my mother and aunt) and his sons, Eugene and Alfred. We can't figure out about the Ernest/Eugene both born in 1910 or what happened to mom, Nancy? We did find a Ernest Freeman living with grandparents, Cox and Oe Pilkington in 1920 in Mound Valley. Can anyone clear any of this up for us? Thanks
