My great grandfather Curtis W. Rich, b. 1848 PA, son of C.W. Rich, saddle maker in NY City is listed in 1885 Osborne census with wife Mary Francis Wilcox Rich and young son C.W. Rich. Curt is listed as the "auctioneer"; he was a "traveling man" and probably did not stay in Bull City long enough to leave any other records or genealogical traces.
