Hi, folks-
My wife and I plan to be in your area this fall, and I'm
hoping to visit some of areas in which my family lived in the
late 19th and early 20th centuries. My maternal grandfather,
Hal W. Coffey married my maternal grandmother Faith Webb in
Woodward County, Oklahoma in 1915. It may only be a
coincidence that my grandfather's last name is the same as
Coffey County, but given the geographical proximity I'm
wondering if there might be a connection. I would appreciate
any information (or even informed speculation) that any of you
might have.
