I am looking for information regarding Rathburn Johnson and his spouse Sarah Elizabeth Williams Johnson who lived in Baxter Springs. My mother Lucile Johnson was born there March 22, 1904, the first of six children. They moved to Missouri after their Kansas stay. Rathburn was a farmer and a road boss. He raised strawberries and was called "Strawberry Johnson." He had a number of mules and delivered his produce in a mule drawn wagon. I would like to know how long they stayed in Kansas, if they owned land there, and any other related information. They also owned a small farm in Miami, Oklahoma which I imagine is not too far away.
