I am trying to help my grandmother (Dorothy Young-Shoemaker) find information about her mother & father's families. My great-grandmother's name is Pearl Arvilla Atwood, daughter of Thomas & Ida Atwood. Grandma believes that she was born around 1890 in Smith County. Though it is possible that she was born in Rawlins County, as she is a niece to the Atwood's of Atwood,KS.

My great-grandfather was Forrest Young. Grandma believes he's from Colby, KS.

I would appreciate any help or direction in finding them or info on them for her.
