Mrs. Ruby Thomas

Mrs. Ruby Thomas, 79, of 4215 Merriam drive, Merriam, died yesterday at a nursing home in Olathe. She was born in Kingston, Mo., and lived in Johnson County the last 40 years. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the South park United Methodist church. Surviving are two sons, the Rev. mercer Thomas, Morrisville, Mo., and Marsden Thomas, 5216 McAnany, Shawnee; tow daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Raynard, 11624 West Sixty-eighth terrace, Shawnee and Mrs. Ruth Zahner, 7204 Quivira road, Shawnee; 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 o’clock at the Hoge chapel, Overland Park, burial in Pleasant View cemetery. Friend may call from 7 to 9 o’clock Friday night at the chapel.
