I am researching Chastain surname and I would like to know about a Thomas J. and a Thomas D. Chastain, T.J. was from Coffeevile,KS in 1923, when his sister (Emily Chastain/ Lawton)died in Nebraska.She was the wife of Geo Lawton of Saunders county, Ne.T.J. and Emily had a sister Susan C. that died and is buried in a homestead family cemetery in Ne.
Emily born in 1839 Ill., married Geo Lawton.
Susan C. b-1851 Ill.
Thomas J. b-abt 1845 Ill. his wife is Emily L.
