I have just learned that my great grandparents lived in Scammon, Kansas in the late 1890's. My great uncle, William E. Ballenger was born there in 1893. I would like to know when they arrived in Scammon. I know they came from Indiana via covered wagon. Their daughter, Laura, my grandmother, married Will Hisle and my mother Gladys Hisle Lewis was born in Scammon I would like to know of any information re these families. Thank you
