10 yrs ago there was only 1 copy of the old version of
"History of Montgomery County, Kansas by L.W. Duncan, and it was held by the Coffeyville (KS) Library. A newer version was released 2 yrs ago, but many of the Pioneer families listed in the first book were not included. (Including my KING fam. who came to KS in 1857, and to Montgomery Co. in 1883). Because there is only 1 copy they do not allow inter-library loan.
