Searching for information on my great grandparents Edward E and Emma (Barrett)McConnell lived Coffeyville, Kansas 1870s thru early 1890s. Others in family at Coffeyville or in area same years, Arthur McConnell, George H McConnell, and James McConnell. Family operated, The Star Mills and a ice house business in Coffeyville. The ice house business burned down in 1885. One son is buried in the Elmwood Cemetery, grave marker says, Son of E. E. McConnell, born and died 1879. My grandfather Edward E McConnell was born in Coffeyville, Kansas in 1884. Both of my great grandparents are buried in the family plot at Beaver Creek (Silver) Cemetery Twisp, WA., Okanogan County.
