Marion Howell was born in 1833 in Floyd County, Georgia. He served in the Confederate army. He was a farmer and could not read nor write. He and his wife Clarrissa moved to Meigs County, Tennessee in the 1860's where she died in 1870. Marion then married Harriett Mills in 1872. Older family says he moved to Kansas where he died in 1905. Do you have any information about Marion Howell's move to Kansas, locations, time frames and any family history??
