I am searching for the father of my gg-grandfather, Sven
Larsson, who homesteaded in Clay County, KS, in 1870 near
present-day Green. His parents, Lars and Svenborg came to the
USA in spring of 1869. His mother lived with him for a while
but she seems to disappear after the 1875 Kansas Census. Lars
seems to never have arrived in Kansas. A sister, Elna, came
with the parents. Sven himself came to this area about 1865-
66. He renounced his allegiance to the King of Sweden in the
court in Riley County in November 1866. Any information on
this puzzle would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
