My name is Dana Harlan-Brown. My Grandfather Elbert L. Brown was killed in action in WWII in Oct 1944...2 months after my dad was born. He never knew him, and once my grandmother re-married her husband wouldn't let us speak of it.
I started searching for our Brown family after my grandmother died in 2006. It has been so hard!!
I have narrowed it down somewhat and I know that one of my grandfather's brothers lived and died in Great Bend. His name was Orville R. Brown. His birthday is 12/16/1918. He has 2 daughters Carol(Schlatter-Dobbins) and Virginia(Davidson) and a son named Rex Brown.
