I have family that was born in Fort Scott Ks. My grandma Frances Mae Stamper b 06 June, 1909 m. Edward Everett Harrison they had 6 children this is my line. they had another daughter Katherine Elnora Stamper b abt 1913 m. Warne Trowbridge, had one son. my question is my g grandparents Frances and Katherine's parents were Roscoe Conklin Stamper b 10 May, 1885 m Lula Deeds ? don't have any info on her, i know she died after my grandma was married and had my dad, as my dad can remember her. he was about 10 years old when she died. Lula's parents were Minor Deeds and grandma has a note that says Civil War? not sure what that means. Minor deeds m. Katheryn Root no info. her father was Elijah Root, immigrant from Ireland. these are notes that my grandma made out. parents of Roscoe Conklin Stamper are Joseph W. Stamper says Civil War Covington Kentucky 1839? don't know what that means. he married Mariah Margaret Sanders. that is all i can find out about the family, does anyone else have any of these people in their lines? I would like dates, names, spouses, marriages, deaths, notes, stories what ever. i do know Roscoe Conklin Stamper worked at the railroad there in Fort Scott Ks. he also later remarried a Beulah Loving in 1911 which is wrong. cause Katherine was born after that date and they both had the same mom, on the harrison paper work it said instead of Lula Deeds it has Barrett, i come to beliving what my grandma wrote... does anyone know anything about this family, please help me... please reply to my email it is jaf11@msn.com will reply to all emails. will share what i have on the Harrison's side. as don't have much on the Stamper side. thanks in advance
