I hope you will be able to help me. I am trying to get information on my Gr.Gr.Gr. Grandfather, Curtis Stearns. He was born in NY approx. 1810-11 Moved to Ohio and according to His obituary in the Tiffin Tribune(Ohio) He died in Atchinson, KS. The Obituary in the Ohio Newspaper was not informative . It stated that He was the Father of Sylvester and AlvinStearns, true per 1850 Ohio Census, and died at an advanced Age. Also stating that He was a Resident of Fostoria, Ohio for many years. Varified by the 1860 Ohio Census. The date of the Obit was Feb 17, 1881. The Obit stated that He died on the 30th nlt. I sure hope you may have additional information. I cannot located a Cemetery He was buried in. If there is a cost for this research please let me know and I will gladly send.
