This James Highland is the son of my John and Mary or Maria Hyland/Highland formerly of Yates Center Woodson Co KS. Mom died circa 1872, father died 1878 Yates Center leaving james and 5 other children all of who were "farmed out". Can someone help me to find what became of James? When did he die?
