I am looking for any information on the burial place of Grace Land, born Grace Ashworth on we believe 14 May, 1887. She was married for the first time around 1905 to a man with the last name Templeton. We don't find her in any census with him, but she had three sons by him: Ralph b.1905, Gerald b. 1906, and Loren b. 1908. She remarried in 1909 to Joseph E. Land on Jan 4 1909 in Washington County, Kansas. There are news articles to show this. She is shown in the 1910 Census with Joseph, Gerald, Loren and a new son Leslie. In this census Gerald and Loren are using the last name Land. That census shows them in Lincoln Township, Washington Co. In future censuses she is not listed. In the 1920 Census Joseph is remarried to Hulda, with son Leslie and they are living near Kansas City. Gerald and Loren are with her father Jasper Ashworth in the 1920 Census,at Humbolt,Allen Co., still using the last name Land. We have a postcard from one of her sisters to another sister stating that she is sick and that she should come to see her. It is postmarked Waterville, KS. Cannot see the date. We are told by the Washington County Historical Society that she is not listed in any Washington co. cemetery list.
