I am trying to locate some information about an ancestor and his family. His name is James Richards. He was born in 1837 in England. He came to America in 1839, settled in Wisconsin. He moved to Minnesota sometime around 1860. There he married a lady, whose name was Sarah Ann. He served in the Civil War and moved to Smith County around 1870. The last census that he is on is in 1910. He is not on the 1915 state census, so I feel that he passed away some time between 1910 and 1915. If anyone can help me with, please let me know.
