Looking for my Grandpa Rudolph Garfield Whitehead's family from Knox County,Ill. Father's name Joseph, Mother Dency Dean. His Father was James(England)Mother Hannah(England)b.abt 1818.
The family moved to Kentucky, Tenn. Then moved to Knox County,Ill. After The Civil War they moved to Cloud County,Ks. By 1900 some of the family moved back to Galesburg,Knox County,Ill.
Most of the people were farmers. My Grandpa and his Brother Benjamin were Electricians in Ks. My Grandpa moved to Utah between 1900 and 1906 where he met my Grandma Susie W. Jones. They married in 1906 had two children Lynn Arthur(named after his uncle)Ruth Elizabeth. They moved to Butte,Mt 1910 where my Dad Ephriam Alvin was born 1912. My Dad is also named for another uncle(Alvin). My Grandpa said he was born in Ill but it was Cloud County,Ks 1879.
I would like to know when James,Hannah,Joseph H,Dency,John and his son J Richard died and where they are buried.
Joseph's son John and Easter lived in Galesburg,Ill where they had two children Garnet 1900 and J Richard abt 1904. Garnet became a Teacher in Galesburg. She later taught in Sangamon,Ill. J.Richard worked in the Mail Room for the Railroad in Galesburg like his father John did. I don't have information on the family after Easter died in 1932.
