I'm looking for information on William Newton Brant who was shot in a robbery on 20 Sept. 1931 and died either that day or the next. His wife was Gertrude Hampton. They lived on S. Mosley in Wichita, KS. Gertrude's mother was Mary E. (Peacock) Hampton b Aug. 1861 in IL and d 5 Mar, 1931. The Hamptons and Brants traveled with the Broadbeck and Schraeder Carnival. They ran the boardwalk at Joyland for several years or worked the boardwalk. The Brant children were Lillian Alt Brant b 1906, Virginia Bernice Brant b 1919, William N. Brant Jr. b 1923, Wilma Brant, and James Edgar Brant b 1925.
My grandmother Lillian Alt Brant was married to John Montgomery Carter, Clifford Talley, Harry Marvin, And Art Hill. She had four children that I know of and died in Oregon re-married to Harry Marvin

Also I'm looking for information on the parents of Anna Laura (Brubaker) Showalter b Oct. 1862 in Heidelberg, Berks, Penn. d 12 Dec. 1956 in Wichita, Sedgewick. Ks. The parents are Isaac Brubaker b 1836 in Penn., and Mary Ann (McMillan) Brubaker b 15 Sept, 1834 in Penn. d 1 Apr. 1878-1882 in Mifflin, Penn. I believe my great-grandparents had been anabaptists.
