Looking for info. on Jeremiah Patch and family. Jeremiah applied for Civil War pension in 1897 at age 75 and stated he was a resident of "Ionia, County of Jewell, State of Kansas" and had served in Co. B, 86th IL Inf. James Anderson & Angelo Colson attested to his application and stated they had known him for 20 and 25 years, respectively. Jeremiah's wife's name was Julia E. (Morgan) Patch and their children were James, George W.(b. Jan. 8, 1858), Laura R. "Nettie" (b. Sept. 12, 1860), Mary Ann & Cora Patch (b. Dec. 11, 1868). I believe Jeremiah died at Ionia, KS. Does anyone have any information on this family?
