GEORGE B. PRESTON worked for the King BRIDGE MANUFACTORY AND IRON WORKS IN IOLA, KANSAS. He was a builder, having worked on a bridge called Springfield Des Arc Bridge in Conway County, Arkansas, he also worked on a bridge in
Crawford County, Arkansas.

I think he is the son of GEORGE PRESTON and MARY NIBLETT HOLMES PRESTON. His father was in the Civil War and a have a will left by his mother which states she had a son named George B. Preston.
