I am a Beattie native and also the secretary of the Beattie Cemetery where the Davey family is buried. The Marshall County Historical Society has a genealogical research library and museum in the Historic Marshall County Courthouse in Marysville, Kansas. This is the county seat of our county and about 15 miles from Beattie. They are a very active historical society and the research library is used by many people searching their roots in and around our area.
