Seek information if a Thomas Edward Lindley and/or FNU Wilson may have expired in rr accidents in Wichita or Montgomery Co., KS ca. 1897-98.

Lindley was b. about 1860 and m. Elizabeth Monfort about 1878 in IN or IL. Their first son, Wm. was born in IL. Their second son Fred was born in KS or Indian Terr. about 1884, and a possibly daughter, Mahala, was born in Indian Terr. in Dec. 1885. Libbe returned to IL where a son, Frank, was born in 1898, but it is possible his father had already died. IL is where Mahala resided with Libbe's aunt per the 1900 census. Libbe became a practical nurse in Champaign Co., IL where she resided with sons who worked for the rr.

Libbe's half sister, Mona Monfort, m. FNU Wilson about 1892. He may also have worked for rr. They resided around Montgomery Co., KS and near Caney, KS, or possibly in Sedgwick Co. Mona's son, Harvey Lee Wilson, was born about 1897, but Mona was listed as a widow in the 1900 fed. census, living with her parents, older brother, and a nephew, in Skiatook, Tulsa Co., OK.

There is a possibility that each of these males, Edward Lindley, and Wilson, may simply have died accidentally about 1897-98 and a news story printed in the local press.

Any assistance appreciated.
