Does anyone out there in Doniphan area have info on Jesse and Permelia Jennings Jones, both born in VA ca 1813, married in Campbell Co, VA 1832, listed in 1850 census in Jefferson Township, Andrews Co, MO. Children listed are Angeline, George, Daniel, Mary, Emily, and Zachariah. Jesse is listed in Wathena, Doniphan, KS census/tax records from 1856 on. Believed to have died at Wathena. Found in Kansas tax/census record a C.F. Jennings and Samuel Jennings listed near Jesse Jones...may be connection. I am a descendant of Permelia Jennings' brother, Powhatan Perrow Jennings.
