I am a cataloger at the Denver Public Library. I have a photograph of a group of men and women dressed as pioneers and posing with horse-drawn covered wagons. Two automobiles [1900-1910?] are parked on a bluff behind behind the group. A title inked on the original reads: "Early settlers of Barber Co. Kans." I assume this is some sort of re-enactment. Most of the people appear elderly, so they may be actual settlers in the county. This is from an unknown collection and reproduced by Eagan. Does anyone have any ideas on the photograph?
