I am looking for a picture of an old farmhouse that was located on T road near Mayetta. It was the first house north of Cedar Creek on the east side of the road. I lived in this house in 1970 to early 1971. It was torn down in the late 70's to early 80's. I would like to find pictures of the outside of the house no matter what year and also pictures inside if possible. My family and I are disappointed that we never took any pictures when we lived there. In 1880 George Elliott, his wife, kids and nieces and nephews lived in the house. S.J. Elliot owned the land south of him where the little school was. The school has been converted into a house since the late 1980's. My grandparents still own the land across the road from the old house I am trying to find pictures of. Also, has anyone ever heard of an old stage station or way station or something like that that was directly south of Cedar Creek on the West side of T road? I remember hearing stories about it but no one remembers it so I may be thinking of something else.
Anyone with information and or pictures of the old Elliott family house please contact me. I will be glad to pay for copies of any pictures. It was a pretty large farm at one time and had a barn and if I remember correctly it also had other out buildings and of course and old outhouse. Thank you!
