I have spent years researching my family histories. My great-grandfather was S. S. Rose. I cannot find what his name was just the initials S. S. He lived in Barber and Pratt Counties. He died in 1937, I don't know what month. I have talked with the sexton of the Ellenwood Cemetery, up by Sawyer, where the records say he is buried beside his first wife, Olive, but there is no tombstone for him. If anyone knows what the S. S. stands for I would appreciate the information.
