ALLEN PEARSON and his wife SARAH (maiden name not know).They were born in KENTUCKY lived in INDIANA for several years before moving to KANAS.
In 1856 ALLEN was living on the WAKARUSA.We do not know if SARAH was still alive . The children were,MARY PEARSON married a FORRESTER HILL. CYNITHA PEARSON (adopted name WHITCOMB due to early death of parents). She married THERON S. CONGER. JOHN PEARSON married MARY AMANDA GREEN. ELIAS PEARSON married FRANCIS WELKER she died early and he left with his son CHARLES for OKLAHOMA. JAMES PEARSON married (ELIZABETH) BETTEY L. KRAMER . DAVID MONROE PEARSON ( may have had the last name of PRICE due to parents early death. He married MARY J LEWIS. All of the a fore mentioned brothers served in the CIVIL WAR volunteers from KANSAS. They also had a brother named ISAAC PEARSON who served in the CIVIL WAR IN THE 1ST INDEPENDENT BATTERY KANSAS LIGHT ARTILLERY , but the National Archives do not have a record on him as they do the other sons,so we have not other information on him. We also have two sisters names SALLY PEARSON AND SUSANA PEARSON found them on the IN 1950 census but have no record of them in KS. some times there name is misspelled as PIERSON. Found JOHN,S bur rial in OAKHILL CEMETERY IN LAWRENCE AS JOHN PIERSON.Al so some of the census records have PIERSON or PEERSON Am looking for any information on this family .
