According to his obituary in the Arkansas City Daily traveler, Tues. 5 May 1926, he was 75 years old and had been an invalid for 4 years dying at the family home. "He was a carpenter and was quite well known in this city". Funeral services were in the Grant Funeral Home, burial at Riverside Cemetery, Cowley Co., KS. Catherine supplied this information for his death certificate: Mother: UNKNOWN, Father: UNREADABLE (looks like either Emmett or Emanuel)
According to her obituary in the Arkansas City Daily Traveler, Wed. Jan. 8, 1947, she had lived in the same house for 38 years. Had been in ill health for some time. Funeral at Grants Funeral Home, buried beside her husband, at Riverside Cemetery.
