I am looking for information on Parnell, KS. It was established in Aug. 9, 1883 and discontinued March 15, 1923. It was one of the stations on the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe RR between Atchison and Cummingsville. Mahlonn F. Yergey/Yorgey was noted in his home town paper in May of 1891 as the post master of Parnell and also being in the merchantile business. I am looking for information on Mahlon F. Yergey/Yorgey and his family.
