I'm looking for information on my grandfather's parents. My grandfather was born in 1875 in Chetopa, Kansas. His father's name was Edmund Ragland and his mother's first name was Martha. My grandfather's name was Charles Alfred Ragland and at age 6 was adopted by Ransom Kelsey. He had 2 brothers that I know of. One of them was Ed Ragland. I know that his mother had been married before and her former names were Martha Reeves and Martha Riley. She divorced Edmund Ragland when my grandfather was between 1 and 6 years.
