My GrGrandparents homesteaded along Twin
Creek. FELDERMAN, KOENEMANN, GROSSEN,
ZIMMERMAN.
I have several hours of audiotape, recorded
while my Grandmother Esther Zimmerman Seidel
and I drove the dirt roads that meander around
the area where she grew up. There was a
schoolhouse just a little N and E of her
birthplace.

The only mention of 'shopping' I remember
was 1) the wagon driving into Osborne
2) the peddlars who traveled the area.

It would be very interesting to compare notes
and put some 'X's on a map of the twin
creek area. The audiotapes mention the
early family farms in the area by the
name of the people living on them from
roughly 1898 - 1914.
