Does anybody have any information on Isabelle Elizabeth White? She was married to my great grandfather Augustus Manford Sprague, who had an 80-acre farm near Madison.

Isabelle Elizabeth White died on February 27, 1930.

Augustus died on August 21, 1919.

Augustus was also referred as "Manford Augustus Sprague," according to some researchers. He was born on May 17, 1852, near Memphis, Scotland County, Missouri, and seems to have
continued on to Dawes County, Nebraska, where his six children were born, near the now-defunct Coxville Post Office.

Augustus was a descendant of William Sprague who came to
Salem, Mass. on September 6, 1628, with his brothers Ralph and William.

Augustus' line of descent was William, Anthony, Anthony, Anthony, Anthony, Abraham, and Henry Harrison Sprague of Ohio.

Augustus and Isabelle, known as "Belle," were the parents of:

Irvin Curry Sprague (b.4/28/1886 d. 2/20/64, Tulia, TX);
William Ernest Sprague (b.2/4/1876 d.10/1965, Independence, KS);
William Glen Sprague,(b.1883? d.3/3/1934, Shawnee County, Kansas);
Fred R. Sprague. (b.3/18/89? d.1/75?, Alhambra, CA.);
Inez Sprague (b. ? d. 1904, Greenwood County, KS);
and Bertha Sprague, (b. 1917, d. 1917, Nebraska).

The Spragues seem to have come to Greenwood County around 1900, because Irvin Curry Sprague went to high school in Madison.

Augustus, Isabelle,William Glen, and Inez are all buried at Hamilton, KS.
