I am searching for any available information concerning a tragic turn of events that occurred in Marysville, Kansas in 1880. My wife's grandfather William Arthur Long was born 8 March 1880 in Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri. Nine months later, December 1880, his mother Anna Long died in Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas from childbirth complications and was buried somewhere in Marysville. Anna had an older son from a previous marriage, Barton Wade. The baby's father, Sanford Long, placed him for adoption with a local elderly couple, Thomas J. and Ellen M. Wolverton on 18 March 1882. Sanford left and remarried on 7 January 1883 in Carson City, Nevada, then moved to Ogden, Utah. He then sent word to the Wolvertons to have the baby returned. The baby arrived in Utah 10 October 1883. I especially am seeking three pieces of information.

1.)The location of Anna Long's burial site and whatever vital stats are available.

2.)Info about what became of Barton Wade following the death of his mother.

3.)Info about the Wolvertons and what became of them.

Thank you in advance for any info that comes my way. I have recently discovered info about what became of Sanford Long and his family that I would be all too happy to share with anyone interested.
